The next big star of Cape Verdean music has a name: Eri dos Santos.
The Cape Verdean representative won the 3rd edition of the TMC International, after a memorable final on the stage of the Zuidplein Theatre in Rotterdam. With a confident voice and captivating presence, the young man from the island of São Vicente won over the jury and took home the prestigious Bana Prize.
In addition, Eri dos Santos was also the most voted by the public, securing the Audience Award. As the winner, he will receive a prize of €1,000, intended for the recording of a single with a music video, as well as a European tour.
The jury for this edition was composed of Manuel da Silva, Suzanna Lubrano and Dudu Araújo.
